A Peruvian

Adventure!

Join Angie Kidd as she shares her adventures into the culture most of

us have only read about in the pedigrees of our alpacas. In November 2007, Angie spent three amazing weeks among the people of Arequipa, Peru enjoying the Andean culture, people, architecture & of course the alpacas.

While in Arequipa, Angie participated in a weeklong mission to bring the gift of mobility to people through the Wheels for the World Mission.

While serving, she had the opportunity to meet people of the Quechuan culture known to be some of the earliest alpaca and llama herdsmen.

Her second week was spent immersed in the culture learning how the people of Arequipa work and live on a daily basis.

Her journey concluded with the International Alpaca Fiesta where she not only met people from around the world, but also a few breathtaking alpacas!

Angie will introduce you to the people of Peru, the mission experience, & some of the most amazing alpacas you can imagine! Don’t miss this opportunity to get a little closer to the homeland of our beloved animals.
